Writers World- Keep going
By Vivian Arend
The mind is a strange thing. As a writer who plots only lightly (very very lightly) it always comes as a lovely surprise when I reach the point of knowing WHY.
When the reasons for the characters actions suddenly becomes clear to me, and I get to finally breath a sigh of relief that yes, there is a story to be told.
Writer’s advice today? For me, one of the most important things to remember is to KEEP WRITING. If I stop and fuss and worry, I never get to that magical point of finding out why. Once I know, going back and tweaking is easy. If I’m not writing though, nothing happens.
On my wall I have in nice big letters: Just Tell The Story.
Your mileage may vary, but for me, that’s my focus. All the way to the end.

Excellent advice-and I wish I could do that. As long as you just keep writing, I will be satisfied, Ms. Viv!
