Cool new books- ORACLE’S MOON by Thea Harrison

By Vivian Arend

I had the pleasure of meeting Thea Harrison for the first time last year at the National Romance Writer’s convention (RWA), and I fell in love. She’s the most amazing lady, and I’m so pleased to be able to introduce you to her latest release. This is book 4 in the Elder Races series, and I think it’s my favorite so far. I love how the hero has to learn about humans!

As a second daughter, Grace Andreas never had to worry about the intrigues of the Elder Races. But when her sister, Petra, and Petra’s husband are both killed, Grace inherits the Power and responsibilities of the Oracle of Louisville, as well as her sister’s two young children – neither of which she is prepared for.

Yet, she is not alone. Khalil, Demonkind and Djinn prince of House Marid – driven by his genuine caring for the children – has decided to make himself a part of the household both as their guardian and as an exasperating counterpoint to Grace’s impudence toward the Elder Races.

But when an attempt is made on Grace’s life, she realizes that Khalil is the only one who can protect her – and offer her more than a mortal man…

I would love to have a dragon I could travel on. I would love the feeling of flying and having my own dragon!

I’d have to go with “poofing”. That’s right– I would just want to poof to a new location– no flying, spinning, going at speed of light– nope– just “poofing”. I have vertigo, so it needs to be something that won’t make me dizzy every time. BAHAHAHAHA

Oooh I like the dragon answer… maybe I would choose a pegasus… or be able to shapeshift into a flying creature… :D

Pixie dust sounds great or teleporting. I also get motion sickness so no riding dragons for me, although that sounds like fun.

I would love to travel by thought–I’d like to be able to see the countryside go by, when I want to take my time, but I’d also like to be able to get there in a hurry, if necessary. I would guess that the hurry part would involve some extra effort or render me unable to move for a bit–like a consequence for the speed. I’ve read a lot of fantasy books–can you tell? :)
