Travel Update

By Vivian Arend

Hello from Ecuador, although we have changed locations. We’ve left the sunny coast since it turned into the rainy and buggy coast, and we’re now doing a tour through the highlands.

One thing I never expected? That I’d be gasping for air after having gotten used to being at sea level!

We’ve got until the end of the month to travel our way back north, and then return to Canada hopefully in time for some of the snow and cold to have completed its stay.

I promise once I’m home to start showing a few more pictures, but it’s not always easy to work in internet time along with every thing else. The days are busy as I explore with the family and try to keep up with my writing. All worth it, though!

Wow, fabulous pics! What an amazing time you are having. My Alaskan cruise vacation I’m planning for this summer seems so boring next to yours! :D

    An Alaskan cruise boring? Never!

Hey… Are you traveling on the same cruise line as in Wolf Line? ;)

Now that would be cool! Maybe I could ditch my hubby on our 20th anniversary cruise and pick up a hot shifter. ;-)

Isn’t he grand? There were so many of them wandering the farm. Yes, a FARM–up hill on Santa Cruz island, the tortoises wander through the fields.

    Wow.
